Long-Term Development: Pushing Forward

With the constant press that has been gained over the semester for the Women's Resource Center it makes sense that the next step is to push more and more for a paid director.

The hard work and dedication of the Women's Resource Center is now paying off, and more press has been garnered leading towards a paid director.

Carly Thompsen was interviewed by the Daily Wildcat, and is promoting the goal of a paid director for the Women's Resource Center!

See the article Here.

More than that, the WRC has been presenting up a storm about the Long Term Development goal of a paid director. HIV Testing!

A very successful HIV Testing event was held today in CSIL. The Women's Resource Center, CSIL, SAAF, and AIDS Safe all collaborated to bring about this incredibly important cause, Free HIV Testing.

The event had a total of 27 tests administered, with another 42 people on a wait list to be seen.

These numbers show that there is a need for testing of this kind on campus!

Another great article was written this morning as well!
